I am not holding my breath for a response to what is probably a fairly unusual question, but has anyone, by any chance, been able to install the co8 mod, running TOE on a mac?

I am using wine. I should probably just suck it in and install a windows partition, but i haven't needed to yet. So far I have found TOEE works ok.

I am guessing i can put the mod file in the TOEE wine folder thingy and hopefully install it from there but I am not sure.

Anyone had success with this?

First of all, your question is in no way unusual. I myself am playing my favourite RPG's on the mac, and, indeed, it can be a challenge to get some of them running.

However, I managed to get ToEE running without any problems using Wineskin Winery.

Just create a new wrapper; make sure you install the latest version (WS9Wine 1.7.0X engine)

I even got the latest Co8 patch installed: http://www.co8.org/forum/showthread.php?p=116174 (same procedure was when you install the game into the wrapper).
