I'd happily remove this post, but editing will have to do since I can't find a way.
I've discovered that there is a way to overcome the main breaking bug in the game: use an older version of Adobe Air (presumably the one it was developed with). If anybody has the problem of continuous slowdown, this may solve it.
Too bad I can't also update my review; I'd prefer to increase my rating given that this solution is reasonable.
