i just purchased Technobabylon on a bundle, but i still want the extra content available on GOG. Hence the question in the heading of my topic.

Isn't HB also provide DRM free copy?
But anyway no, you can't use a Steam key to redeem on GOG (unless the game with come sometime to GOG Connect).
The devs do provide a Steam copy to the owners on the GOG version, you can try to contact them to ask if they do it the other way around but it does seem unlikely.
