When I open the game, it's a small window. How do I fix this?

If you press ALT + Enter it should go full screen. my issues is that the sound cuts out if I use full screen, then going back to the smaller screen the sound is not restored and I'll have to restart the game to get sound back, but in a tiny box that I cannot see very well.
