This is a very great and addicting game that no rpg gemer should miss expacily things are so random that you always be suprised whats on the corner and the stuff youll find.
Too bad my first charater died a stupid dead but he left an expierence ill never forget.

Agreed. I am up to my 19th character and haven't made it past level 34 yet but am still having fun. Thanks gog!
A gem? Surely not! It`s so fecking unfair! tried it a few times and the game managed it to kill me even within less than one minute!!!!
The most unfair things are the random encounters. Every time the game throws enemies at me that are impossible to kill.
Definitely not a good game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried the exploration mode (infinites live)?

For me, ToME is the most enjoyable roguelike I've played. It's hard but not hard enough so as to be punishing, at least if you play it in the easier mode. You don't have to care about food that are present in more hardcore roguelikes, the graphics are nice (no ASCII), many classes (some are more interesting than others), the lore is very good and generally I find it friendlier than other roguelikes I've tried.

Maybe not good enough for an expert rogueliker (!) but definitely a great game nonetheless.
It's addicting. Not sure if I like it more than Nethack, but I find myself playing this over other games as of late. Even stuck it on my work laptop.

Just tried Stone Warden yesterday and that was a lot of fun.

Might try exploration mode someday so I can actually beat the game, but I feel that might make me play less intelligently.
