So I just purchased this game, downloaded it, and gave it a whirl. I went online and registered all my keys.

My main issue is, when I press new game - after going through the loading screen - all I see is a black screen.

In order to quit out, I need to bring up task manager and manually remove the game (instead of alt-f4 or using the task bar).

Any help would be appreciated.

My log is attached below.

My specs are the following:
Type: Laptop (Gaming, ASUS, RoG)
Processor: Intel Core I7-9750H
RAM: 32 GB (31~ used)
OS: Windows 10 Pro, 64 Bit
Video Card: GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q. (I ensured that Fates of Ort is running using this GPU)

Edit: I cannot seem to post my log, as GoG will not let me post links.

Think you need positive reputation of at least 1( or possibly 10?) on your GOG user id before you can post links on these forums.

Just looking at the system specs you posted, the RAM settingmight be the problem.....reading that as
31 GB of RAM used on a 32 GB RAM system.

Maybe try going to Windows 10\Settings\Privacy\Background Apps and disabling a few of the many many programs that run by default in the background of a normal Windows 10 install. Like "Mail and Calender", :Groove Music", "Calculator", "Connect", "3D Builder", etc.
