Game originally came on CD with redbook audio tracks.

Does this release include them as lossless FLAC?

The alternative soundtrack was MIDI.. does this release retain the MIDI version soundtrack as well?
I'm running the Steam version, and while it is not FLAC, the redbook audio has been ripped into .ogg. VLC reports a bitrate of 896 kbps per track, nearly 3 times that of a Spotify MP3. I'm not a huge audiophile but will there be much of a noticeable difference?
And yes, the MIDI soundtrack is present in the release well. I have VirtualMIDISynth and it works perfectly fine with it.

While the .ogg files sound like they're pretty good quality, I'd still prefer to get the lossless FLAC versions of the original music tracks. Along with adding back IPX | TCP/IP multiplayer, that would be the proper way to preserve this good old game.

So I'm waiting on support to edit my initial review, but you can re-enable the IPX | TCP/IP by removing the dplayx.dll stub file in the folder. The developer explained that they added that in because otherwise the game prompts you to install DirectPlay before you can play it, which nobody uses anymore so understandably people shouldn't be forced to install it.

Ok, thanks for the tip.

I'd still really like the lossless game music to be included though. How do I send a request to GOG??
