Hello everybody!
First of all delete "ddraw.dll and ddraw.ini" from the root directory. Note: These files come from cnc-ddraw, a VERY GOOD and open source wrapper that, unfortunately, does not provide good image quality for this title. =/
Then download and extract this into the root directory:

And get all the power of the GOG wrapper extracted directly from Heroes of Might and Magic IV - Complete (update - 3.0 win11 2022-09-06). =D
This works from start to finish with all the benefits of the glorious D3D renderer! Note: I don't understand why the hell GOG didn't add his wrapper. Well, it's there for those who want to test it. ^^
