Bought the game yesterday and started playing it (it works really well straight from the GOG installation) and I noticed that the game appears to use what I think is a US keyboard layout as two of the default keys aren't in the position that that the reference card states. Bear in mind that I'm using a UK layout keyboard.
The first is the chain weapons button, which the reference card states is to the left of the 1 key (above Tab). On a UK keyboard this button is different to a US keyboard and in the game they key to the left of 1 does nothing. Instead, the key to chain weapons is located inbetween the two cycle systems buttons (it is the ' key, the same key as @).
This brings me to the second difference. The two buttons to cycle systems aren't next to each other. Instead they have a key inbetween them. The cycle system previous is correct, but the cycle system next is the # key (same as the ~ key).
In the game settings, if you press the button to use the default keys whilst the cycle system buttons on visible on the list then you see it change to #, even though it doesn't actually change, and scrolling the page off and back on to it they key assignment then shows ' again.
All in all, nothing game-breaking between a US and UK layout, but something to be aware of. You can still re-map the keys.
