Gog sometimes have things in their game that make them work better with new computers. Anything in there that I should know about? I already have the steam version. I have a keyboard-ghosting problem on that version. Is it likely I'll have it on this version as well?

The GOG-version is already pre-configued with nglide and a patch that Steam I think doesn't have. So you can play it in modern resolutions and widescreen without problem.
