It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

So the shortcut points to running the galaxy client and I don't want that. I went to make a new shortcut and there is a shock2.exe, ss2.exe and a launchsystemshock.exe. What are the differences and/or which one do I use? I feel pretty dumb asking this but the shortcut shouldn't be pointing to opening the galaxy client. We already have steam. We don't need two steams.

looks like shock2.exe is the best bet

though for me all 3 work
Been looking around and the ss2tool will default to ss2.exe since it has two seperate exe's. I'll use that one and thanks for the help!
SS2.exe is what should be used, as mentioned here, shock2.exe is outdated (v2.45) and should be discarded. GOG has already been notified, hopefully they'll remove shock2.exe from their repo soon to prevent this kind of confusion.
