So my laptop works great for system shock 2, but my tower which has an ATI 6950 gets this weird flickering off color, greenish effect scheme. I tried different resolutions with negative results. Anybody know what to do?
crossfire/multimonitor?
single graphics card and one monitor only
post your shock2.log
Is this it? Not sure what you meant

yeah, correct. might as well post it here (as guests have a very limited access to shock.org right now):

edit your cam_ext.cfg, and add "d3d_disp_no_rgb10_buf" (without "") to an empty new line. see if that helps. if not, also try DX6 (add ; at the beginning of the use_d3d_display line to disable it).

in case you've skipped it:

edit your cam_ext.cfg, and add "d3d_disp_no_rgb10_buf" (without "") to an empty new line. see if that helps. if not, also try DX6 (add ; at the beginning of the use_d3d_display line to disable it).
Thank you! That did it for me!

This also fixed my graphics issue entirely.

I can't wait to dig into this game. I've never played it!

Thanks so much. Best Valentines day gift ever from GOG

The first one did the trick, I am playing and having fun, thanks!!!!
