kakiss4: The Textures are very pixelated and take less space,
they make a VERY clever use of it in Game, they "merge" because of the overall Effects and Lightning,
you just do not recognize how pixelated they are.
Imo mastery :)
Also, many other Games don't optimize their Ressources, they just throw all Stuff in and basta.
At the End, you have to invest into a new Drive, not them.
As an Example, it was possible to delete other Languages in Doom 2016 and Eternal
and you saved about 10 GB.
Sadly they rearranged the File Structures and the Language Packs are hidde .
In case of Textures, why do you need to have 4k Textures on your Drive, if you only habe a 1080 Monitor?
They could make it optional.
Thank you for your reply. I agree with you that the great knowledge of a developer can allow a smaller size. In any case, on the purchase page it marked 2GB. They seemed too few to me anyway. It was a mistake by GOG. Now it scores 10 GB.
rebb: A big huge download does not mean that a game is good.
I actually applaud every developer who makes their games smaller in size these days - while maintaining good gameplay.
Thank you for your reply. I totally agree with you.
