hi everyone

Game crashes after the 1.2 update and the Hotfix.
It crashes in New Game and older Savegames too.

FATAL ERROR - and no info why..

do someone experience this in his game?
or is there some fix for this problem?
It may be related to corrupted save game file.
Try to backup all your saves and then start deleting saves from the newest to oldest. Unfortunately, to verify if this works you need to start game after each time you delete save file.
Thx for the response.

i have done this.

fresh install
- fresh New game
- fatal error
- on the same spot, after you find the first Pistol.

have to wait for the next fix

I'm having this very same issue. I can start a new game and play fine for about 2+ hours, then I'll start getting UE4 Fatal Error crashes every 2-5 minutes at random.

Over on the Steam forums, people are mentioning how Nightdive, in their infinite stupidity, completely dropped support for pre-AVX CPUs in patch 1.2. The game worked PERFECTLY fine for me before patch 1.2, but since pre-AVX support was removed, the game crashes nonstop and is unplayable. Sadly, unless there's enough of a community uproar, Nightdive will probably never restore support. It seriously sucks and the only way to play it now is to roll the game back to a version before patch 1.2.

Uproar! Uproar! Seriously, I have the same problem, exactly as described here. What's the best way to create an uproar? Barring that, how might I roll back to a pre-1.2 version? (My GOG account has no old versions under downloads.)
