coffeegator: So I've decided to try replaying System Shock 2, my first play through was on another Mac that broke recently.

But my new one doesn't seem to like SS2 very much, when I start the game the textures go apeshit until the game crashes a few seconds later. Eventually I learned that this only seems to happen when I choose the Mac's native resolution, but it's still odd. I've tried to screen cap it but no success so far. I really dunno what's going on, this was never an issue on my old Mac.

Oh yeah, I currently have a 13 inch Macbook Pro with retina (newest model, I think...), in case anyone wonders.

coffeegator: I suppose I'm a bit late in responding to this thread since it seemed to be largely ignored, should've probably said I found a solution.

I can't guarantee said solution will work for all Mac users but for me, changing the Wineskin engine seemed to work for me, but you'll have to download Wineskin Winery and then download an engine via the app first. Wineskin Winery can be found here:
