A few years back, I bought System Shock, which put into my library the "Classic Edition" and "Enhanced Edition".

I also bought System Shock 2. For the sequel, my library just has "System Shock 2".

I just read that SS2 had an Enhanced Edition, updated by Night Dive Studios, released in 2013.

Searching gog.com, there doesn't seem to be an "Enhanced Edition" for SS2.

Is there an Enhanced Edition for SS2? Or is the SS2 I got in my library the "Enhanced Edition"?

The one in the library is the "Enhanced Edition". It uses a newer version of the Dark Engine. The original wouldn't run on modern operating systems (not without problems/tweaking).

Note that for SS1, the enhanced edition brought new resolutions, mouse_look, controls... etc. For SS2, the changes are less obvious. Check this post:

I played the original SS2 back in the day.

If I ever play this again (feeling nostalgic), I'd like the second playthru to be enhanced, with widescreen resolutions, etc.

This was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Like being inside a great sci-fi horror movie. I love love love this game.
