I am currently stuck on System Shock 1: EE and am losing my mind trying to get to lvl 8. For some reason the elevator doors refuse to close even though I am fairly sure I have completed all the steps required.

I have entered the reactor code in lvl R. For some reason the security level there is still at 20%. I have searched everywhere in the level for any missing nodes and cameras but can't seem to find any...

I have been to the life pod in lvl 5 and faced off against diego. Shodan has locked the life pods and I got the message to head up to level 8.

After this, I went back to level 7 and I cannot get the damn elevator doors to shut so I can go to lvl 8.

Am I missing something here or is this some bug?

The only thing I might be missing here is 2 cyberspace pickups locked by ICE I couldn't unlock in lvl 7, as I only have the drill lvl 4.

Are either the cyber nodes required to progress? Or getting security down to 0% in level R?

I have been going back and forth between levels 2-7 trying to see if I missed something, but I am at a loss here... any help is greatly appreciated

Wow, I hadn't interacted with elevator door. It closes just fine when I do so. I hadn't even considered that, given that every single elevator in the game up to this point closes automatically when you select a floor. This is so friggin dumb.
