NightDive still hasn't released the Mac OS X version of System Shock 1 Enhanced like they promised, so I was wondering if anyone has had any success running it in a Wine Skin through Winery? If so, how did you do it? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the help. I'll give it a 2nd look, but last time I checked out Paul the Tall's stuff, it didn't work and he wouldn't respond to inquiries for help. That was only a couple months ago, so I don't have much of a warm and fuzzy feeling about that...

Edit: Yeah, I tried tried it and it's the usual problems... None of the links respond from Paul the Tall. For example, it says, "click here to install the porting kit." I click and nothing happens. The same goes for all other links. I posted on their forums, and no response (months ago).

That's strange. I use Portingkit all the time with no problems. I just went to the link I gave you, clicked on word "Porting Kit" in the first paragraph, and it started to automatically download. My guess is that the problem is something to do with the settings on your browser or computer? EDIT: I am using Chrome.

Probably is my Ad Block Plus and Ghostery extensions in Safari.

Anyway, after scouring the internet, I ended up trying the following and it worked!

Actually seems to work perfect so far! Thanks anyway for the help. Looks like the same wrapper used for Deus Ex also works for SS1 Enhanced. Rock on! :)
