Hi I am only getting stereo out of this game, is this normal? As it supports EAX from my memory that was a multi channel (speaker) setup. My setup is via HDMI into reciever amp which handles upto 11.2 channels.

It's intended for headphones (the best result) but it can be set to 7.1 speaker system. HRTF is used for stereo mode only so if you want to use speakers you don't have to set Windows sampling rate to 44,1 kHZ but you have to modify alsoft.ini (or create a new one with alsoft-config I think).
