Hello, everyone!

I just reinstalled SS2, and used SS2Tool and the latest NewDark patch to install the community patch, texture upgrade and Rebirth.

My issue is, after the UNN training, when the character wakes up un the Von Braun, and opens doors, there is no vision on what is on the other side of the door. I can walk through, and there is light on the other side, but I can't see anything until I physically walk inside the room. Until then, there is absolute darkness on the other side.

Does anyone have any idea as to what might cause this? Thank you all so much!

yes, 100% activated SCP mid-game. this simply isn't supported, you need to start a completely new game after you activate the community patch.

also, lets make sure you have installed everything correctly - you are supposed to install SS2, patch it with the tool, and then load mods using the mod manager. if you have installed the "raw" NewDark package manually at any point, wipe everything clean and start over.

So, reinstall and install NewDark with the mod manager? Sounds simple enough.

and then start a completely new game.
