Is there a mod or something that makes this game actually playable? I get that it's not an action FPS and I'm fine with that. I had no delusions of that going into it. The atmosphere is great but...this game is basically unplayable. I had hoped that the EE would add some options for that but they don't seem to have done so. So, yeah, if you guys could point me toward a mod with better control options I'd be appreciative.

EE includes the mouselook mod that makes the control scheme bearable (press E to toggle between the use mode and the shoot mode) - there is still a bit of a learning curve, but that shouldn't be a problem for most people.

the upcoming source port will make things work even better - most controls are configurable, and manual toggling between modes has been minimized (you can have an almost SS2 style functionality as far as the UI is concerned).
