An option to remove, or greatly decrease, the idle audio of enemies. Keep the walking sounds but decrease the idle audio likelihood would add greatly to the surprise of coming around the corner and seeing a high tear enemy. You could keep high quality subtle sound that is unique to each enemy, for those with a careful, sensitive ear.
