Hi
After Deck 6 when you're told to go back to Ops on Deck 4, then head to Deck 1 engineering, as soon as I take the elevator down to deck 1, the level seems to reset itself and I cannot get through to the door without flushing the radiation again.
Once I have done that I can't take the elevator back up to 5 as it says shaft inaccessible, as if the elevator is still blocked on deck 3.

Anyone know how to solve this?

woah. this is probably the weirdest thing EVER encountered in the history of SS2 glitches. share all the saves you have at hand. also are you using ADaoB or not?
Don't think I'm using ADaoB, it's a pretty clean install barring a few texture mods.
Here's a link to what I think are my latest saves

yeah, the levels have been all reset to their default state. unless you have an older save (that is not glitched yet), you are probably out of luck.

but on the bright side, you are now officially the holder of the "rarest bug ever encountered" achievement. even the guys with invincible enemies can't match you.

Aww damn.

Thanks anyway.
Sounds like the campaign data is broken and has lost its questbit information. There are various possible reasons- permissions, bad luck, installing mods over an existing save game

It's probably not solvable, I'm afraid. If you have an earlier save game it might be worth going back to eng1 again to see if the problem reoccurs or is a one off.

[man am I slow or what. As v47 says, gone irretrievably I'm afraid, simply nothing left to fix].

hold the thought, I might be able to fix it. be back in a moment.
ok, done: http://www.sendspace.com/file/2k1dps

used the shocked editor to get you through the glitched spot, completed the objective, and ran to the recreation deck where I've saved. you will miss around 3 minutes of gameplay, but apart from that, you should be able to continue normally.

just to be sure, don't return to the engineering deck during this playthrough.

voodoo47 thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
I just got this as well! Threw me for a loop! Guess I'll be using the save above. Glad someone fixed this...
actually if you share your save, I can fix it as well.

also, share your shock2.log (and any other information about your system), maybe I can figure out what has been causing this.

Voodoo47: Awesome work
not really. awesome would be if I actually knew why is this happening.
Where would I find this shock2.log?
the game folder.
