Figured someone had to get this started...

So I haven't played the game myself yet, and I'm really looking forward to it. But first, I'd like to know if this modding guide is still relevant, specially since that patch was released.

if you are asking whether the guide is still accurate/valid, the answer would be NO, as quite a few mods have already switched to NewDark, and the new version of ss2tool also works a bit differently.
