Maybe this isn't the thread for it, but - does the freeing up of the rights mean it's more plausible now that we might see a system shock 3?

Heh, I would just reuse woodoo's reply: Careful what you wish for.

We might very well have System Shock 3 in the future - as a very streamlined gaming experience with innovative business model.

Meaning it'll be a dumb shooter with microtransactions.
