Ok, this is getting batshit ridiculous,

with the new update to the system shock enhanced edition, the game is still not playable on my system, when I try to run the campaign it just crashes to black screen with the eror code: "A fatal error has occurred in System Shock. Error code 16391. File error: Error creating initial game - likely insuficient disk space.

You know what, fuck nightdive, their piece of shit port is absolutely unplayable and they almost never responded to my messages on their Discord, at this point I AM DONE WITH THEM. Each update breaks the game more, the game I spend my MONEY on, so those IDIOTS can forget about seeing any more money from me.

Unless they fix their damn game, I am officialy boycotting their future products

Edit: I am taking back most of what I said about Nightdive, while I´m still not able to get the game working, the devs have been kind enough to respond to me, despite my heated (and immature) rant at their expense

Hm i don't use Galaxy but try to start the exe directly in the directory.
Did you install it in "Program Files" ? or any x86&x64 folder ?

No it´s not installed in either Program Files nor x86 (x64) folder. And the weird thing is that whenever i try to play the game it will always download the update from Galaxy despite using offline install. Maybe the offline install is still unpatched, I dunno.

I'd actually use Galaxy to download the game, as you are correct. The offline installer isn't updated yet.

Try closing Galaxy from the taskbar and running "sekhmet_x64.exe" directly from the install folder (not the start menu folder). It won't launch Galaxy. (If it does, either you're either in the wrong folder location or something is seriously messed up with your Windows install)

Also the save game is put on the c drive in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Nightdive Studios\System Shock EE
Replacing USERNAME with your Windows account username. So if your c drive doesn't allow access for some reason that could be the cause.

On that note if you are using stand alone Virus protection you may want to try temporarily disabling it and see if that works. I've had mine destroy save games in the past unless the install folder is added to it's exception list. Tokyo Xanadu I'm looking at you!!
