Playing on Windows 8.1

Just downloaded it via the GOG galaxy client and the game won't start. I remember playing it with no issues a few months back, via the browser download.

I read in one post a special character in the account name may cause issues, which is my case. Is there any workaround for that?

What other known issues are there to launching the game?

Any help is appreciated

EDIT: Turning on admin and compatibility for windows 98 solved it. Welp, it's fixed

Late reply, but I tried contacting nightdive on their discord server about the issue, while they haven´t responded yet, I read somewhere on their discord that they are preparing some new update for the game, so hopefully they will take notice and fix the issue
