I am unable to get the Tacitcool mod running for System Shock 2.
I have unpacked it into the DataPermMods folder in my SS2 installation folder, but nothing happens.
And yet, the Rebirth mod and others work just fine.
Also, before any of you ask, I had unpacked the ADaoB mod into the DataPermMods folder prior to Tacticool.
I even tried unpacking it there again, but still no dice.

you are probably extracting the mod into it's own folder. see the sticky post for pictures that show how your mods folder should look like.

Thanks, voodoo47, I thought it had extracted normally like the other mods, but apperantly it hadn't and I have managed to get it to work now. :)

Yeah, if I remember right that's the only one out of the files he linked which has an extra level of hierarchy build into it. Everything else you just extract directly, that one you have to descend past the Tacticool folder. My guess is because it's Voodoo's own personal version of Tacticool, with things like the ADaoB compatible pistol, Eldron's Psi Amp, and RocketMan's world model Psi Amp, and he just zipped it slightly different.
