I've installed the latest OpenAL driver, set sound in game to Openal, EAX is still greyed out.
Please help me fix this, not sure what to do =/. Tried alchemy but didnt know how to make it work.

I have ALchemy installed. Not sure how necessary it is. But the EAX is working for me, Make sure that SS2 is installed in a non-protected folder.

you need to click one the hw acceleration button in the audio menu until it changes to openal to actually use it.

I forgot to set the Creative audio mode to Game. It was on entertainment, which doesnt use EAX.
