hi guys,
I'm having a REALLY annoying thing here which seems to be some kind of bug.
just before the battle against shodan I have to jump down this tube.
but I never land anywhere and I cant move towards the end of the tube. I tried jumping and moving
around but nothing happens, Im not geting closer!
any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

this usually happens when you have a german install patched up with ss2tool WITHOUT selecting the german patch option. repatch with the tool, select the german patch, and it should be fixed.

hm i dont even have ss2tool installed right now. I used to, but it didnt work, so I kicked it.
do you think just copying my saves and re-installing the game works?

yeah, back up the saves, uninstall, delete any leftover files, install again, restore the files, and it should work.

shit, didn't work. I still got the same bug.

if you are loading a save where you are already stuck at the bottom of the shaft, it probably won't work btw.
