I copied the contacts of the SSHOCK folder over on to my Windows 98SE and running in DOS mode (restart in DOS) the game seems to run okay but I can't use the INSTALL.EXE to tweak my settings. The program won't show any of the characters after I select English - it's all distorted looking and even if I memorize the selections from DOSBOX it'll crash when I try to run a sound test.

Is my only option to burn the CD.bin and run that version?
