Digital is way easier then any form of media in today's climate, no reason to deny that. Some people might not want to deal with optical drives in any form, real or emulated.

It would be nice if GOG / NightDive had been clear about their involvement in the fixing/preparation side of SS2 (ie, they did very little) and the majority of the work was done by the modding community. Their reference of 'our expert techninjas to analyse and swat the remaining bugs' by Guillaume Rambourg in the RPS article is truely out of place and misleading when it comes to this release of SS2.

Seems to me that all that these "expert techninjas" did was:
- use the outdated version of SS2Tool without giving credit
- use the NewDark patch without giving credit
- disable the intro by adding "no_intro" to cam.cfg

I totally agree with you man, what a low and dirty move from GOG and the other "company" involved behind all of this..
