You can set the visuals for the Syndicate game to interlaced in order to get an "old tv set" feeling which I find very appropriate for this game.

All you have to do find your dosboxSyndicate.conf document in the Syndicate application folder, look or search for "scaler" and try a different one.

The one that looks best for me is tv3x
