I just wanted to buy syndicate, but read a few comments about it being flawed, poor dosbox config etc.

So if you bought it, is it that bad?

seems fine to me, the main issues with it are the poor ai in my opinion but thats a gameplay issue. Its more nostalgia than anything i think syndicate wars is the actual game fans are wanting to play. They ont realise it thoguh until they replay syndicate and notice its many flaws.

Just run the game as administrator and it works fine.

You might want to increase the cycles a bit, there can be some slowdown when stuff explodes.
