Hi there,

(Edit: Syndicate WARS)
I'm stuck in Epoch campaign mission 12.

I only have the chick agent, De Saxo, or whatever, and I'm supposed to assassinate Dr. Someones assistant and take her place. There is a gunfight going on between unguided and a couple of Eurocorp agents and a bit later the assistant arrives by car nearby. The problem is, even though I shoot her right away after she comes out of the car, unwield the weapon and try to walk past the Eurocorp agents, like I'm supposed to, they attack. Always.

I read a walkthrough from syndicate.lubie.org and that's how it's supposed to work but the agents always attack and there is no way to fight back because De Saxo is very weak and the agents don't die from a shot from LR rifle (and they have launchers...)

Anyone played this recently?

Edit. Oh yeah I got it. You have to pick up a LR rifle and be as far as you can from the agents. What an annoying mission, really.

For anyone else having problems, I found that after you assassinate the professor's assistant, De Saxo must drop the weapon so the agents won't attack her. Makes sense, really - I guess she doesn't have a pocket that fits a rifle. :) that said, I was surprised how diversely the developers thought through some of the smallest details like this one. Too bad the game doesn't really tell much about them. Took me ages to even realize you can acquire money by "robbing" banks(reducing them to ashes)!
