Playing this kind of game with a mouse just feels weird as hell to me and the "pointer acceleration" just makes it worse.

Where's gamepad support or at least mapping everything to the keyboard?

EDIT: Hmm... I guess it's not cursor acceleration after all. I'm not sure what's going on but it still doesn't feel right with either the "input lag correction" on or off but I'm not sure if either is better. I'm no longer sure if it's an issue with the game itself or if switching from a controller/joystick to a mouse for a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up is just too weird to me personally...

Frankly, at higher difficulties I can't see keyboards or controllers being up to par. Too much stuff going on, and in more intense sections the enemies can be really fast. You need to both be able to move to the other side of the screen almost instantly, and also do small, precise movements.

I'm usually more of a keyboard type for schmups, but the mouse is really the better control device for this game.

Maybe. I'll see if I get used to it or not.

I'm enjoying it but it just seems odd for some reason.
