It seems that the developers have decided to remove Denuvo with the latest update. So now my hope is that the game will find its way here soon !!! :)

It was posted on the steam forums that Patch 1.1 did indeed remove Denuvo .

Denuvo indeed affects performance. I refunded the game because it takes 3 minutes to load and I got 5 FPS in game. But after I installed the crack the game now loads in 3 seconds and the main menu is 60 FPS. Now that denuvo is removed and if they fix the controls for keyboard and other dialog issues I'll buy it again."

Well, your quote pertains to someone installing a crack...what about word that the patch officially uninstalls the DRM from the game? That's what we're looking for...

That is everything I copied from Steam, Denuvo is not mentioned....

Yes I read that there had been a crack.... but if you read it carefully you'll see that they mention that update 1.1 removed Denovo and that the person writing had said they would now reconsider buying the game again since that drm had been removed with update 1.1 so I'm hoping this rings true so as I can buy it here as I would much rather have it from GOG.

I posted a direct question on steam as to the status of Denovo ..... waiting to see the response now.

Now reports that the patch released today(May 4th) puts Denuvo back in;they apparently removed Denuvo just to put in another version of Denuvo.
Microids is now pissing all over one of it's core fanbases. Un freaking believable. On of the worst launches in the history of computer games.

From a lot of the reviews, I am not sure we are missing much. The game has a lot of problems that have nothing to do with Denuvo or lousy PC controls.
