The game freezed after I have received the wood in Metro. I have tried to restart game. I have tried to press ESC. I have tried to change resolution. I have tried to play in windowed mode. Anything haven't helped. Does anybody any solution for fixing it?

is exactly the same behavior. It looks like the next scene cannot be loaded correctly. I'm in the flooded subway, and I just got the wooden stick. Then everything goes on, picture and sound, but I can't do any more interaction anywhere.

That's really stupid, because I need this stick of wood to drive out the bats.

Same problem!

Same problem for me.

At the "beautiful" graphics setting the game really runs very slow on my 3 year old laptop and is barely playable, so I've been playing using the "Fast" graphics quality with resolution of 1280x720 and it only slows in certain areas. When I hit freeze scene in the Metro, I set the game to play in windowed mode and got by the scene ok. After the next time it saved I quit and restarted and removed windowed mode and everything worked ok after that.

Switching to windowed mode worked! Freezed for me continuosly on the dock after second time Oscar moved the ship.

I read somewhere that choosing the 'no thanks' option doesn't make the game freeze.

Switching to windowed mode did not work for me

I tried in the fast graphics mode instead of beautiful and also windowed mode instead of full-screen. With these two selections, it worked for me and I could skip that part and continue playing without the freeze. Note: I just said thank you and took the wood.

My game froze here after getting the wood from the Yukol. I suspect my problems are mainly due to my machine not being quite man enough for this game. Another forum suggested running task manager and changing syberia 3's priority to "high". I tried this but without success. However, I did use task manager to close any unnecessary processes (including GOG Galaxy). This, combined with using the lowest possible resolution and speed, did the trick and I managed to get past the freeze.
