Looks like I managed to make it work on Windows 11 by following suggestions here as well from the Steam forum for Syberia.
(Try the installation again if you removed the game out of rage)
Go to the game folder (if you don't know where it is, open the game folder of another game through the button next to Play -> Manage installation -> Show folder, then go up one folder, and into Syberia)
Right click on the file Syberia (Syberia.exe if the extension is shown)
Select Properties
Select the Compatibility tab
Select Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the dropdown
Select Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution
Repeat for the file Game (Game.exe)
Run the file Syberia
If asked, install DirectPlay, if not, you can install it by hand by searching in Start menu or right on the Taskbar for Windows Features, and in there selecting Legacy Components -> DirectPlay and clicking OK
Install DirectX End-User Runtime from Microsoft
...links are not allowed, so I'll try an image instead
Run the file Syberia
Enjoy the game!
SmollestLight: Unfortunately, Windows 11 is not supported by the game, which is also shown on the product page.
I suggest you check my guide and update your install scripts because this is quite an infuriating failure on your part.
