Got the Syberia I & II pack at Microcenter last week. Just finished Chapter 2 of Syberia I, and one of the puzzles is evil. This is the last puzzle of the chapter. There is one item you need, and in order to get it you need another item. And that other item is something I completely missed while navigating the locations because the path to it is hard to see, and there is absolutely no clue anywhere pointing to the fact that you even need that other item, let alone where you might locate it!
This really upset me because I had promised to myself I'd complete this game without a walkthrough, and I was still forced to google (or spend hours or days attempting to pixel-hunt every screen in Chapter 2.
Anyway, a word of advice regarding the graphical aspect of Syberia I - forcing anti-aliasing through the drivers in Syberia I makes Kate and NPCs look 100x better, but blurs the backgrounds somewhat making them even more pastel looking. The game's own anti-aliasing setting does not work for me, even after restart. Don't know if GOG fixed that.
Syberia II's anti-aliasing setting works great.
