My game screen is very dark indoors and outdoors most of the time. In watching a game video, it shows what the game should really look like:

My setup is GPU Radeon RX 580 series VRAM 8.192 MB
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-core processor
16 gig DDR4 ram
Monitor 1920/1080 HDMI
1 TB SSD

There's no reason, in my opinion, why S3 game screen is so dark on my setup, unless there's some settings that needs changing in my AMD program.

Anyone got any ideas?

Adjust the gamma of the screen.

and you'll find posts that discuss how to do this for Radeon cards. I had to do this for my Nividia card.
