Is 5$ really so bad for an expansion? I can't actually review the expansion myself (I've still lots to do in the base game and limited resources at the moment), but I would like to hear opinions on the matter. If 5$ is too much, what wouldn't be?

It's a STEAL at $5! All new Psionics system (not used just by the Psionic but creatures and even the other characters can get in on the action to a much more limited degree), 2 classes, the ability to stow away items for future runs, and oodles of new items/creatures/traps/room features!
People are mad that GOG is offering separate DLC packs for games that have them, instead of bundling it all in for free.

I think there is a difference between bundling ancient games with all known expansions and still purchasable games with just released expansions. As a rule of thumb, "Such and Such Gold" or "Such and Such Complete" like bundles don't come out the SAME WEEK the said expansion is released.

True enough. Some of the replies/reviews I've seen are the poster being butthurt about it on some warped "principle." Heck, as far as I can tell, the only things not "good old" about the site and The Pit are the digital distribution and the copyright date, respectively.
