That's about all there is to the problem. I've reinstalled from the ground up. Try to get my mercenary to throw a grenade and nothing happens. As far as I can tell this is the only class that I am having this issue with. What I get is a little white arrow pointing in the direction of the grenade toss and that's it. The game doesn't freeze, but everything stops like it doesn't know WTF to do. I've tried in several times in several different locations; always the same.
