Who knows at this point.

GOG hasn't even released patch 1.5.5 (released on Steam over a year ago) and the Medic is coming with 1.5.6 so at this rate, we may never see the DLC. I hope that's not the case.
I realy hope they add the dlc. Otherwise i would have to rebuy the game on steam.

I thought about it, but they're behind by one patch and one DLC. Out of a lot of patches and several DLC, historically. Maybe I'm just burnt out on it, but this is one case where I don't care enough to start over buying Steam copies.

I know that Galaxy and The Pit are both individual clunky to work with, and that Juggernaut in particular was held back several weeks. And they entire series is on manual download mode to this date. So that's not so great. I guess we'll see.

The studio is a nice one that's always struggling along on a shoestring budget and one failed Kickstarter away from closing shop, so if you want to support them, go ahead. But for me it's not worth it for one DLC on one title. If anything, I might take a look on their website and see if the Pit 2 Kickstarter is up yet.

I won't re-buy on Steam because I don't have that kind of money to spend and I love GOGs DRM-free system. As much as I adore GOG, I am very disappointed with this. Kerberos has said they've contacted them numerous times about these things. I've written to GOG. Nothing but silence. My guess is they don't know what to do with these patches or just don't care enough to implement them. Kerberos says they've sent GOG the 1.5.5 patch and I'm sure they've sent them The Medic and 1.5.6 patch and probably nothing will come of it. 1.5.5 is needed for the Necromancer as it fixes issues with it, including stats, missing descriptions, items that didn't function correctly before the patch, etc.

Sorry, but this is consumers and indie devs both getting the short end of the stick. I would hope GOG can correct this and release the patches, or at least the newest 1.5.6 patch (which will retroactively include 1.5.5) for a complete game.

Yikes. That's no good. I'd definitely pick up Medic if GOG could get their act together. It's too bad that they aren't keeping up. It seems like they've been behind on everything for months, spending all their time trying to make Galaxy work and it generally never coming together as fast as they assumed it would.
i own a few gog games.. but wow this sucks. i never thought about that they wont maintain patches and etc. i wonder if this is wide spread? like to many games on this site.

I have contacted GOG's technical staff, along with their PR people numerous times during the past years, in English and Polish language, regarding many things, not only games. And it was always the same - they lay their bits on you, always the same woman replies to me, with her standardized responses. It might be even a bot.

Don't hold your breath, when they feel like it - they will post the newest DLC here. Until then - we all wait, not being worthy enough of the answer.

Cheers.

Well, when you say "when they feel like it" keep in mind patch 1.5.5 is over a year old and still hasn't been released on GOG.

I have a bad feeling they won't be making patches or the DLC available for The Pit, anymore.
guys, this ISN'T a CD Projekt game, GOG is NOTHING but a distributor here. The ONUS for updates is purely on the dev/publisher of the game to supply to GOG who can't magically wave their hands and make it appear. Nor is it their job to track every game and hound the dev/publisher for the latest DLC/updates.

Clearly GOG is at best a third class citizen in the eyes of this dev.

Same goes for moddable/MP games. I'd stay away from GOG versions and go for Steam where it'll all be integrated ESPECIALLY IF the game uses Steam to provide/coordinate MP. Sure mods you USUALLY can add to the GOG version but it's ALOT of extra hoops to jump through ESPECIALLY IF the mods are really only available through steam v. say Bethesda games where there are MANY alternatives for obtaining mods, and honestly better ones as I Steam workshop really has zero controls other than 'subscribing' to a mod similar how their filtering system is utter shit.

Hmmm...where is the ONUS, that is the question!

So I found out that GOG has abandon this game. Here is the proof from the pit devs themselves.

http://www.kerberos-productions.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=549854#p549854

So is it the job of gog to hound devs/publisher for lastest dlc/updates? maybe but its good customer service if they did, however it is out RIGHT to know if the devs or ignoring this game now and refuse to update this game.

I cant believe they took our money and said well screw all future updates.

The thing is, Kerberos DID send them updates to GOG but they're not releasing them on the site, for whatever reason. The developers (Kerberos) said they have contacted GOG numerous time on why they haven't released it.

Edit: The dev just posted a response that the Medic WILL be released on GOG.
