the Engineering skill is not documented, i read something in the wiki, but i don't understand anything at all.

Do someone have an idea of
-what is it
-what does it do
-when is it used
-when and how do you use it intentionally
-is it useful :)

I remember seeing some kind of small tower in a room. Using the object caused an engineering check to come up. It said something like "disrupt master control", or something like that. I failed the attempt, so I never figured out what actually happens. I think I triggered an alarm.

Some advanced recipes need enginering.
Some tower's need it but it is definately useless to upgrade enginering for them.
