Every time I start up SWAT 4 Gold Edition it has a normal startup until I click, in which the game exits (alt-tabs automatically), returns to the game and has the audio running, however, the screen is frozen, so I can't properly play or even use my mouse until I end the program using task manager.
Is there any way to fix this? It was working fine a few days ago when I bought it

For me this problem was being caused by Razer Cortex. If you have Cortex turning it off should fix this.

I just wanna tell you man... ive been trying fixes all day long, and yesterday, and now, because of you, i have no longer any issue starting normal "Swat4"... your a life savior...

My other way of going around it has been to play Swat 4 TSS or to add the mode "Elite Force", the only problem has been that i would like to play Swat 4 online servers as well,
