Just got Swat 4, never played it before. Will I get a better experience adding the elite force modd or should I just play the vanilla, will most likely only do one playthru knowing myself?

Sorry i can´t answer your Question, but maybe it helps a little bit!

At first you should try if both, SWAT4 & SWAT4: TSS, working correctly!

For Example: SWAT4 is running perfectly on my Laptop, but SWAT4: TSS dosen´t work!

When SWAT4: TSS didnt work for you then you did´nt need to install the Elite Force mod.

I had play SWAT4 without a mod to mission 3, then i had install the "Code 11" mod! This small mod is very good and a better experience,

for example:

1.The commands to the team have been reworked / improved
2. You can switch the fire mode to "safe"

try the SWAT 4 remake mod

Is it better than elite force mod and why?

Play it as is, it's a great game. if you get hooked and like replaying missions since it's a very replayable game really, then try mods.

Use ini tweaks to get modern resolutions at least though, that's not really modding.
