I cannot get it to run. When I use Swat3.exe the screen goes black for a few seconds then back to desktop. If I use swat3mod.exe I get runtime error 5. Is this a Windows 10 problem?

It sounds like you are having the problem with the Swat 3 movies. The original movies are encoded with codec that modern versions of Windows no longer support.

The way I prefer to fix this is to replace all of the original movies with versions that have been re-encoded in the popular XVID codec.

Thanks I will look at it now. I have XVID encoding software so I am familiar with the process. I had a thought about the opening scenes being the problem. Will post my result.

Unfortunately this did not work. Black screen for a few seconds that back to desktop. And when I try to use the swat3mod.exe I get runtime error 5. I should note I am running the original CD version with its cd key. I do have the updates to gold edition.
