Me and a friend can see each others games in multiplayer menu when we're connected via tunngle but when we select the other persons game and press join nothing happens, the button visually pushes 'in' when you click on it but you can click it a hundred times and the lobby is still just sitting there. We've done stuff we saw in other multiplayer issue threads like disable firewalls but after extensive googling I can't find a solution to this specific issue. Help would be greatly appreciated.
getting this problem with my friends, any solutions out there? using tunngle

"Keep in mind guys as Firek said in another thread, the unins000.dat file created by the GOG installer (which is being updated) is perceived as a mod to SWAT 3, making the vanilla GOG version incompatible with itself and upgraded/native TGOTY CD versions in multiplayer. Just blow that file away and you will be able to join like-version games."

Inshort, move all 4 "unins000.***" files out and the join button works. Hopefully GOG updates the installer someday to avoid this game breaking hassle.
To further add to this thread...

If you click INFO about the game it will show if there is a mismatch with the .dat files and help give a hint to what is causing issues.
