Hey! I've recently got Swat 3 on my Windows XP VM (Professional SP3, vmware) and it seemed to load up fine etc.

Now I have an issue, when I attempt to load a map it gets to 'Loading AI data 99%' then I see my crosshairs in the center with my commands on the top left and a blinking bullet cursor in the middle. THe big problem is that everything is black in the background. I can't see anything but I hear all the sound effects etc. Does anyone know a fix?

I suspect you are having a crash that isn't being reported.

By your screenshot it looks like it is the point where the game switches to 3D mode. Perhaps you are having a DirectX error of some kind?
